The Prompt: Transition of emotions

Our Host, Antonia Timbol

As a California native, Antonia started her artistic journey well before she stepped foot into a studio. With a deep rooted love for music she naturally gravitated towards any and all movement forms. She began her training at a competitive dance studio where she learned to tailor her creative energy into technical expression. She was introduced to Tendus by Irene Cho, Jazz Walks by Mandy Moore, and angels and grooves from Scotty Nguyen. Gaining knowledge from these brilliant and world renowned artists, she has been inspired to continue her pursuit in the world of performance and visual art.

Antonia decided to take her knowledge to new heights by studying at California Institute of the Arts where she expanded her perspective and refined her artistry. During her Junior year she was accepted into the KreativMindz Dance Academy, where she paralleled her classical training with a range of Hip Hop techniques that Kolanie Marks and Antoine Troupe structured into the Academy. Later, Antonia Performed in the second season of FlyGirls and debuted in Jake Millers “Wait for You,” music video. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Dance and Minor in Digital arts she put her knowledge to the test by Directing, Editing and Producing a few artists and personal projects.

After graduating, Antonia performed with Diavolo Architecture in Motion, soon after became a trainer at Tracy Anderson, fell into the role of Marketing Director for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and is now a part of the Slam Squad for the Los Angeles Clippers. Antonia continues to tie modern knowledge with her through-line core principles which has allowed for eye catching yet timeless art.
